Tenuta dell'Uccellina Farmhouse is located in the Maremma Natural Park, few kms from Talamone, the coastline and its beaches. 400 hectares of cultivable lands and woods, rich in holm-oaks, cork-oaks and maples, and populated with a diverse wildlife such as wild boards, fallow dears, badgers, hares, wild rabbit and foxes. Thanks to its unique position, different natural scenaries can be ejoyed: from plains to mountains' slopes and down to the sea.
The beach is situated close to the Mediterranean bush, and allows an exclusive access to one of the most panoramic strips of the coast. From the beach, which can be reached with a short jeep transfer through the Estate, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the islands of Giglio, Giannutri and Mount Argentario.
The Uccellina Park is an oasis of nature, unique for its traits. Furthermore, it's conveniently located at a manageable distance from many historical and artistical cities, such as Florence, Pisa, Siena, Montalcino, Castiglione della Pescaia, Saturnia, Scansano, Porto Ercole and Rome.
The Uccellina Farm Estate is divided into 2 independent old farms, "Giulia" and "Giobatta", totally renovated to host brand new Suites (Giulia) and self-catered Tuscan-style apartments (Giobatta). The apartments, all with panoramic wiew on the valley, consist of 1 bedroom, a spacious living room with kitchenette, a double pullout sofa-bed, bathroom with shower.
Small pets are welcome at Tenuta dell'Uccellina.
At the Uccellina Farm Estate you can take walks and rides through the woods, following trekking routes and discovering enchanting views of the Park with some recommended itineraries, of variable time lenght, for beginners and also experts. Jeep excursions in the estate, and animal watching in the preserve, are usually planned; everything is at your total disposal, and seen from closer; you can explore and really find the true sense of the nature wilderness, or just relax in the 400 ha of the Country Holiday. You can also taste the "maremmana" beef directly from our cows breeding, our extra-virgin olive oil obtained with the first olive-pressing, seasonal fruit and green vegetables from the gardens of the Estate.
