Sarcofaghi
National museum,
in ancient Palazzo Vitelleschi, of the XV sec., defined one great gotico work - rinascimentale.
E' sure the more important Etruscan Museum of Italy where the sarcofagi are exposed of the Etruscan families, reperti archaeological of several ages, from the villanoviano to that several Roman, objects in materials:
vases of Greek and Etruscan origin (with exemplary of the Greek technique to black figures in YOU sec. a.c.);
paintings of four tombe (Triclinio, Bigas, the Olympic Games and Nave).
National Museum: Winged horses
Goblets, candelabri, mirrors, coins and sculptures of remarkable interest between which that one of the Knight, coming from from the fronton of the tempio of Ara of the Queen of the IV sec. a.C.) from which the wonderful winged horses come also.
