The Scopaione farm lies in Maremma country, near the unpolluted beaches of Mount Argentario and the equipped seaside resorts of Punta Ala, Follonica, Castiglione della Pescaia. Its position is optimum to reach in a short time the most important natural parks, archaelogical sites and Tuscan towns of art. It is possible to discover the old tastes in the typical medieval villages which stand on the sorrounding hills and still keep valuable architectural elements, offering sights and views of ancient times.

In every season you can find characteristic of Maremma tradition festivals and taste typical dishes matched with our wine and olive oil. The old stone farmhouse takes its name from the presence in the old days of heather-bushes (scopo) typical of Maremma scrub. Now the wide garden is surrounded by fields cultivated with wheat, sunflower, vineyard and by an olive grove, where you practise biological agriculture.
After a skilful restructuring, which preserved the peculiar features of Maremma farmhouse, into the farm were obtained 7 flats furnished with arte povera furniture, Where prevails the use of fired brick and chesnut wood. Far from the traffic our guests can find a by now lost quiet, fit for revitalizing body and soul. You can choose among a dip in the swimming pool, a ride with mountain-bike or the reading of a book in the wide equipped garden. In the evening you can cook savoury grills, seasoned with our oil and wine, on the barbecue or on the wood-burning oven, and eat outdoors in the open pure air.
 
Every flat – 5 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor – has got its own entrance. We particularly take care of details and furniture to make your holiday really relaxing and unforgettable. The flats have got fridge – freeezer, cooker with oven, satellite TV and independent heating. At the guests' disposal there are too: swimming pool with deckchairs, parasols, barbecue, wood-burning oven, laundry with 2 washing machines, mountain-bikes, car park. Animals aren't allowed.
Ground floor: Il girasole (the sunflower) and L'olivo (the olive): Flats with living room-kitchen, 1 bedroom + added bunk bed and bath. Il granaio (the granary) and Il fienile (the hayloft): flats with living room-kitchen, 2 bedrooms and bath. La carraia (the carriage warehouse): flat with living room-kitchen, bedroom + divan bed and bath. First floor: L'alba (the dawn) and Il tramonto (the sunset): flats with wide hall, 2 double rooms, 1 double room + bunk bed added in another room and 2 baths.
