Le Rociane Holiday House is a tipical tuscan villa which has been transformed into a strucure for holiday houses and apartments, with an important restauration.
Its' 7 apartments have all different measures and can accomodate from a minimum of 2 persons to a maximum of 6 persons. All have been completely restaured in tuscan style, with the tipical beams and pavements of cotto tiles, partially antique, and with parts of the original stone walls. The important antique furniture makes the atmosphere even more warm and welcoming, whereas the kitchens/kitchen corners are provided with every modern comfort, like a microwave oven, a gas stove and -oven, a fridge and a washing machine.
In the garden of Le Rociane there is a swimming pool with a play ground for our smallest guests.
We are located in the inland of Versilia, almost on the top of the hill of Pedona, at 240 mt. above the small town of Camaiore and at 12 km. from the beaches of Viareggio. This unique position, in the middle of an intense green and silence, offers a really special view at 360 ° over the sea as well as over the mountains and the hills of Camaiore. The particular environmental system of Versilia offers natural regional parks like 'Il Parco Naturale delle Alpi Appuane' and 'Il Parco di Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli, hills, lake, beaches and sea and all this at a short distance from each other.
For whom likes mondain life and shopping there are many cafe's, bars, restaurants, night clubs, disco's and elegant shops along the seaside, from Viareggio, with its' liberty-buildings, to the fashionable outlook of Forte dei Marmi. Also to be mentioned are the nearby cities of Carrara with its' marble caves, Pietrasanta with its' many laboratories of marble sculptors, Pisa with its' pending tower, and Lucca, a beautiful medieval city, whereas Florence is at an easily reachable distance of 110 km.
